This image was created from elements of 7 separate images, which I captured in Provence France (June 2008) 7 hours effort using Corel Paint Shop Pro merging 20 working layers Credit for use of the texture layer “A Touch Of Lace 2” goes to a Flickr friend

The composition is perfect but I wish it had been vertical -- what a glorious poster this would make for Provence! Why are posters vertical, anyway? Great choice of images and the dd work is masterful. Love the tones and light, Les. Surely you can market this one.

Fantastic results Les. Your 7 hour effort is surely worth it. And having the oportunity of seeing the original images is very interesting for me. ... If I had done this though (you'll have to tell me sometime how this is done), I probably wouldn't have included the birds ... I don't think they add that much to the image and are (to me of course) a bit distracting.

Again, a fabulous image. I really like this new style you are experimenting with.
